Heatherton Country Sports Park ( 35 miles). Something for everyone here, - go karting, archery, clay pigeon shooting, golf range, paint balling, horse riding and play area.
Folly Farm (30 miles) a model of farm activities, where children can watch and feed the farm animals, take tractor rides and have a go on the old time funfair, all under cover.
Anna's Welsh Zoo adjacent to Heatherton, and with a good selection of unusual animals. Falconry displays. Great for all the family
